Nal-Dîn

Nal-Dîn is the largest and grandest city in the south, and is the primary trading port on the east sea. The people of Nal-Dîn are not natives of the Southern Pass, but arrived from across the sea. They colonized the great oasis on the coast and quickly populated it with settlers and began trading with the people of the west. Nal-Dîn quickly grew into a flourishing city, and while it grew so did its ambition. With their advanced technology Nal-Dîn sought to become the only importer of eastern silks and spices and wished to usurp the Trade Unions of Ord and Renner’s position as chief importer. Today Nal-Dîn is the richest city in the world save mighty Bythos itself, and it seeks to expand its influence north and west. Aside from trading, the people of Nal-Dîn wish to have as little contact with the people of the west as possible, preferring to keep to what they claim to be their superior culture.
